What do you mean "1. 0"?

The real meat of the plugin is done. The full list of the goals will be below, but active development is going to be very real. Until things get more stable, I'd recommend holding off unless you're a mod-maker that plans on integration.

Due to the influx of Copilot/Claude generated SKSE mods here on Nexus, I am using this page to speak up against it. AI has been an overall net-negative for the world from pollution to job displacement of those that aren't seen as Subject Matter Experts in any field. This software is licensed as a modified MIT with no AI usage clauses affixed. Any use of my work in AI permitted source code will have action brought up against them in full accordance of local law.

Installation

Just use Nexus or MO2, nothing special.

Launch the game, get into a save, click F10 to open the menu. By default, it will edit the player's worn armor. To change the target, select through the console by either clicking or priding the NPC's ref ID.

Uninstalling

Q: Will this brick my save by uninstalling?

A: No, it's an SKSE plugin and makes no permanent changes to meshes. If you run into a problem though, post a bug report.

For delayed support, use the bug-reports tab. For immediate support, join the Discord.

Any and all bug reports made while Skyrim Crash Guard is installed will be immediately closed with "Won't fix" as running the game in an unsafe state will never be supported.

This roadmap is TBD and is subject to change. Things will be added but in versioning releases. Order in the list is not the order being worked on. I work full-time but I intend on trying to blitz the 1. 0 release as soon as possible.
