📋 About This Mod
Every in-game day, NPCs have a chance to get married.
(The chance is decided by you in the INI file.)
Married NPCs will eat dinner together and sleep in the same home at night.
(NPCs will keep their jobs.)
If your friends with the bride or groom you can be invited to their wedding.
You can object to a wedding by striking the bride or groom during the ceremony.
NPCs can get stood up at the altar.
Married NPCs will share how they feel about their marriage—if you're friends.
If they express they are unhappy, there is a chance they will get a divorce and and rejoin the 'Potential Marriage Faction'.
(Can change in INI.)
Specifics:
Only works for NPCs in the 'Potential Marriage faction'.
You can exclude any NPC from the mod by adding them to the INI file.
(This will also cancel any marriages they're in)
NPCs currently following the player aren't affected.
NPCs will not marry a family Member.
NPCs will only marry each other if they live in the same region.
(To prevent NPCs from getting stuck traveling back and forth due to long distances.)
Same sex marriages is okay.
(can turn off in the ini file.)
Audio is repurposed vanilla dialogue only
Performance impact?
None, the mod runs almost entirely through SKSE and the game engine,
It only uses a few small Papyrus scripts that run once when needed.
