📋 About This Mod
Intended for Lorerim 3. 0+. Should work on any modlist using Requiem with Noxcrab's tweaks to armor and weapons as well.
Description
-
[]This mod makes any throwing knives in your inventory appear in a "Bandoleer" configuration across the chest, or on the leg, or both. The number and type of knives will update based on your inventory.
[
]For example, If you have at 4 steel throwing knives, your character will display a maximum of 4 knives. If you only have 3 knives, it will show 3 knives. If you have 2, it will show 2, etc.[]If you have higher tier knives in your inventory, they will take priority over lower tier knives.
[]Everything updates dynamically as you pick up and use throwing knives, no player input needed.
[]Chest preset holds 4 knives
[]Leg preset holds 3 knives
[]Both preset holds 7 knives
[]Chest knives are "used" before leg knives. This is configurable using the "minimums" settings in the IED menu
[](NEW in version 2. 1)Throwing knives only appear if your character is wearing chest armor. They will be hidden if you are wearing clothes or not wearing anything.
I recommend using one of the "Satchels" from Nirn Accessories (Included in Lorerim) if you're using the Chest or Both preset. Knife placement is based on the satchel straps.

-
[]Install this mod in the Lorerim mod organizer
[]Rename the mod and put in front of the name, so that it's not deleted on list updates
[]Load your game and press "Backspace"
[]Find "Display Manager - Custom". If you can't see it, check the view in the top menu
[]Make sure your character is selected
[]Load the preset named "Throwing Knives" CHOOSE ONLY ONE PRESET, LEGS, CHEST, OR BOTH
[](OPTIONAL) Adjust the position of knives, by going to the "Transform" section of each knife (Knife 1-4)
Known Issues
[]Clipping can occur based on armor. I recommend adjusting the transform value if it doesn't look right on your character (See screenshots)
[]Only takes into account inventory, not equipped state (e.g, if you have 4 knives, and equip one, it will still appear you have 4 knives on the chest until you throw it).
[]The center point on the model for iron knives and silver knives is different from every other throwing knife, which means they will be slightly misaligned from the other knives. I recommend not using these knives if it bothers you
[]Only accounts for base knives. IGNORES enchanted versions of knives. You can adjust this yourself in the IED presets if you want to.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Dynamic visual feedback—your character actually shows off your arsenal, which is a cool touch for immersion.
- Lightweight and safe, so you don't have to worry about it breaking your game.
- Community-approved with 67 endorsements and a huge download count (195k+), so it's proven popular.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects throwing knives—if you don't use them, this mod does nothing for you.
- Requires Lorerim, so it's not for vanilla Skyrim players.
- Potential compatibility risk with other mods that alter the same body slots or equipment visuals.
For Lorerim players who love immersive details and want their character to visually reflect their throwing knife inventory. If you're a stealth or ranged build that relies on throwing knives, this is a must-have. Skip if you rarely use throwing knives or prefer minimal visual clutter.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have Lorerim installed and are using its mod manager (like Wabbajack) to keep load order clean.
- Check that you have the latest version of Lorerim to ensure compatibility with this preset.
- If you use other mods that alter the chest or leg armor slots, test in-game to see if they conflict visually.
