✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 368 endorsements and 107k downloads—clearly hits a nerve for many players.
- Does exactly what it says: kills the extreme spikes on tundra scrub, making the landscape look more natural.
- Lightweight mesh replacer—no scripts, no plugins, just drop-in and go.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects tundra scrub—if you're hoping for broader vegetation changes, this won't touch other plants.
- Last updated in December 2022, so it might not be tested with the latest Skyrim updates or mods.
- As a mesh replacer, it could conflict with other mods that alter the same tundra scrub models—check your load order.
For Skyrim players who love the tundra but hate the spiky, needle-like scrub that sticks out like a sore thumb. If you're a screenshot enthusiast or just want a more natural-looking landscape without overhauling your whole game, this is a quick win. Skip if you want more dramatic vegetation changes—this is a subtle, focused fix.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a mesh replacer, just drop the files into your Data folder or use a mod manager—no need to worry about load order for meshes.
- If you use other tundra vegetation mods, place this one after them in your mod order to ensure it takes priority.
- For Skyrim Special Edition, make sure you grab the correct version if available—check the mod page for SE compatibility.
