📋 About This Mod
Hi!
I've given myself a challenge to "optimize" UBE 2. 0 for male character creation. It's a great mod for player character, but lacks content for the guys. No wonder, though - I doubt it was originally meant to be used by male characters. I personally consider these meshes revolutionary for Skyrim and want to contribute to their development with, for example, detailed makeups, mesh adaptations, or… beards :)
Thanks to permission from JohnyBungalow1, I created new beard meshes based on the UBE head and optimized the UVs for the vanilla beard textures, since I don't have the time or skills to create high-quality separate facial hair textures. Maybe in the future!
Available styles:
Short beard - smoothed edges, no vertex alpha painting
Heavy beard
Light beard
Curtain beard
Chevron beard
Goatee beard
Circle beard
So far, only one-dimensional beards are available. If there’s more interest in dimensional beards, I will consider adding them. I’m just not a fan of adapting meshes with completely different topology and such low poly counts, since these are ripped straight from Skyrim.

When looking for beards, refer to my slider 'Levi's Choice - Beards' located under the Hair tab in Racemenu.
My beards are compatible with Khisartin's and Hvergelmir's textures. I also added my own textures, which I made a long time ago when I was just learning. They’re not the best, but not the worst. And since when does variety hurt?
I’ve already prepared texture packs and patched my plugin according to the library build of their mods, so please download them from the required files list. You can delete everything from their folders except the folders with textures.
Not installing Khisartin's textures will result in missing textures; not installing Hvergelmir's will cause the beards to use vanilla low-res textures.
Just install them. I won’t respond to comments like "textures are missing" or "morphs are not working". The mod has been tested on multiple setups.

💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have UBE 2.0 and RaceMenu installed before adding this mod, and load this mod after them in your load order.
- When installing, you can delete everything from Khisartin's or Hvergelmir's folders except the texture folders to save space.
- Use the RaceMenu slider 'Levi's Choice - Beards' under the Hair tab to apply the beards — it's not in the regular beard section.
