I completely redesigned it for the update and gave her the face of my private Elisif Replacer, which I added to this page. Perhaps some of you still remember the fighter with golden hair and will take her with you again on your journey through Skyrim.

Here is her story:

Loreley grew up on a farm in Skyrim and learned early on how to use sharp weapons against wild creatures and bandits. However, when a whole gang raided the farm one day, her family didn't stand a chance. She herself was picking berries in the nearby forest at the time and found only smoking ruins and the bodies of her loved ones when she returned. Driven by a desire for revenge and impotent rage, she sought out the Dark Brotherhood, but insisted on carrying out her mission herself. Astrid was impressed by the young woman's courage and skills and offered the homeless orphan a new home. In the early years, Loreley proved to be a reliable assassin. None of her victims suspected the dark abyss behind her beautiful face and delicate appearance.

But one day, Loreley realized that there was no more anger or hatred inside her; instead, she was staring into a dark,

terrible void. She told Astrid about it and asked to be released from the brotherhood's service. Astrid, however, was not pleased with this request and had no intention of letting one of her best fighters go. So one day, Loreley secretly slipped away, knowing full well that from now on she would have to fear the brotherhood.

If you happen to come to Dragon Bridge, you will probably find the young woman in the local inn. And perhaps your heart is big enough to take in this lonely, lost woman and offer her a new home. A home where her emotional wounds can be healed by love and where she can learn to fight for the right cause and not earn her living through murder and betrayal.
