📋 About This Mod
Konahrik's Accoutrements Abjuration Steal Fix
Version 1. 0. 0
13 January 2024
With the Konahrik's Accoutrements mod, if you use a Scroll of Abjuration to cleanse the curse from a piece of Dragon Priest armor while you are in a cell that is owned by someone else, the cleansed piece of armor is owned by that NPC/faction and counts as stolen if you pick it up. My mod fixes this to grant you ownership of these items.
Requirements
- The original Konahrik's Accoutrements mod.
Installation
- Same as any other standard mod, I recommend installing using a Mod Manager.
(In)compatibilities
- No known incompatibilities.
- Confirmed compatible with Konahrik's Accoutrements - Fixed ESP (installation order does not matter).

This patch fixes an ownership bug in Konahrik's Accoutrements where using a Scroll of Abjuration to cleanse Dragon Priest armor in another NPC's cell makes the cleansed item owned by that NPC. A niche fix for a specific issue, with 192 endorsements and high downloads.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Directly addresses a frustrating ownership bug that breaks roleplay and item management
- Community-tested with 192 endorsements, showing it works for others
- Huge download count (219k) indicates many players use this fix
⚠️ Cons
- Only fixes a single, narrow issue—if you don't use Scrolls of Abjuration in owned cells, this is useless
- Requires the base Konahrik's Accoutrements mod, so it's not standalone
- Potential compatibility risk if other mods alter the same scroll or ownership mechanics
For Skyrim players who use Konahrik's Accoutrements and frequently cleanse Dragon Priest armor in owned locations. If you don't use that mod or rarely encounter this bug, skip it.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Load this patch after Konahrik's Accoutrements in your mod manager to ensure the fix applies.
- If you use other mods that modify Scrolls of Abjuration, test in a owned cell to confirm the fix works.
- This patch is ESP-only, so it's safe to add mid-playthrough, but always save before installing.
