📋 About This Mod
Kathryn is a standardized Follower, with some special looks! Let accompany you by the winner of the 'Ciri-look-a-like Contest'. She also comes with her own unique Face & Body Presets.
Kathryn (Ciri) is an outdated follower mod for Skyrim SE, adding a Ciri-inspired companion. All content has moved to an AIO version, leaving this file for archive only. It requires COtR - HQ Characters and RaceCompatibility, with optional SMP body mods. For players who want the original standalone follower experience.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download count (14,479) shows real interest in Ciri-style followers
- Clear installation instructions for both Vortex and manual setup
- Author explicitly warns about hard requirements, so you know what you're getting into
⚠️ Cons
- Outdated and archived—no future updates or fixes coming
- Hard requirements (COtR, RaceCompatibility) mean crashes if not set up perfectly
- Optional SMP body mods add extra setup complexity and potential physics glitches
For Skyrim players who want a Ciri-inspired follower and already use COtR - HQ Characters. If you're new to modding or don't want to deal with hard dependencies, skip this and grab the AIO version instead. This is purely for archival or those who specifically want this standalone version.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Ensure COtR and RaceCompatibility are installed and activated before enabling Kathryn's esp, or your game will crash when entering her cell.
- If you use Vortex, deploy the mod and check for conflicts with other follower mods that might overwrite COtR assets.
- For the optional SMP body, install a working HDT-SMP framework first, like Fast HDT-SMP, to avoid broken physics.
