Kanjs - Blade of the Deathbringer adds a standalone weapon inspired by concept art, featuring both one-handed and two-handed versions. It requires the Daedric perk and can be crafted at any forge. The mod includes ENB particle lights for enhanced visuals, but these only show with ENB enabled. With 322 endorsements and 9,600 downloads, it's a popular weapon mod for Skyrim.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 322 endorsements and 9,600 downloads.
- Gives you two weapon types in one mod—one-handed and two-handed—so you can match your playstyle.
- The particle light effect is a nice touch if you're running ENB, adds a bit of flair to combat.
⚠️ Cons
- The particle lights are completely invisible if you use vanilla or ReShade, so you miss out on a key feature unless you're on ENB.
- Requires the Daedric perk, which might lock it out for lower-level characters or non-Daedric builds.
- No compatibility notes with other weapon mods or overhauls, so you might run into conflicts if you use mods that alter crafting or perks.
For Skyrim players who want a stylish, lore-friendly-ish weapon with a cool light effect and don't mind the Daedric perk requirement. If you're an ENB user looking for a new sword to swing, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're on vanilla or ReShade—you won't see the particle lights, and there are plenty of other weapon mods without that caveat.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the Daedric perk unlocked before trying to craft it, or you won't see it in the forge menu.
- If you're using ENB, open the ENB UI (Shift+Enter) and enable 'EnableComplexParticleLights' in Effects and 'EnableBigRange' in the appropriate section to see the light effect.
- Since it's a standalone weapon, it won't replace any existing items, so it's safe to add to your load order without breaking other mods.
