Kabu's Really Gourd Plant Replacer

Assortment of high poly mesh and texture replacers for gourds using 3D-scanned real gourds. Use as a simple replacer or optionally put them all in your game with Model Swapper or Base Object Swapper. Includes unique changing models with seasonal progression for Seasons of Skyrim. Patches provided for most food/cooking overhauls and survival mods. Everything is wrapped neatly into one user-friendly installer with everything you need.

REQUIREMENTS

-Model Swapper if you choose the Stacking option

-Base Object Swapper and Formlist Manipulator if you choose the Unique option

-Seasons of Skyrim if you want seasonal models for either option

If you choose simple singular mesh/texture replacement in the installer with NO Seasons of Skyrim, you don't need any of these.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Hidden because the bulk of this information is already in the installer, but you can take a peek if you're on the fence.

The mod is set up with compatibility in mind. There are four base gourd plant types. You can choose one, some, or all. Users who choose multiple variants have access to three version, Singular, Stacking, and Unique.

Singular and Stacking: These versions are the most compatible and need virtually no patches. However, this is at the cost of inventory models not being unique. Gourd PLANTS and individual gourds in the world will be variant but when harvested will create one stack with a single model in your inventory.

Unique: Gourd plants and each individual gourd in the world will be unique and they will keep their unique model once in your inventory. With the provided lightweight nonintrusive patches you can still use the new gourd types in new recipes and they will have the same stats/effects as your game's base gourd. However, unique inventory models means unique entries for each gourd type; currently this is the only way this can be done. In order to ensure the new gourds can be used in any recipes that require the default gourd, duplicate recipe entries have to be made for each gourd variant. While I have incorporated conditions to hide these additional recipes unless you have its particular gourd variant, this still means that if you have multiple gourd types in your inventory, you will see multiple instances of the same recipe in your cooking menu. Up to four, if you have choose to install all four gourd variants and have all of them in your inventory at the same time.  If you forsee this annoying you, I would go with the Stacking option.
