Jks Ryn Whiterun Capital Metropolis - Sewers Patch;
If you use Whiterun has walls, make sure my patch is overwriting its plugins and delete all their plane marker records. Disable some wrong walls.
Known issue:Not fixing navmesh inside the city so NPC do not go through doors from Metropolis inside the city.
2. 0 UPDATE:The CTD has been truly fixed (I don't know when I reintroduce it again). And other things should be better. But installation guide is unclear due to these patches haven't been tweaked to update officially, plz understand.
The reason why I don't update Whiterun has Walls Patches is that I also have a custom combo inside City and have tweaked patches for inner city and exterior but I am not clear which patches are edited for exterior and which are for interior(possibly some are edited for both)
This mod combines JK's Whiterun Outskirts, Ryn's Whiterun Limits, Capital Whiterun Expansion, and Whiterun Metropolis into one package, with fixed occlusion to prevent CTDs. It includes patches for Northern Roads, CRF, and Sewers, but has a known navmesh issue inside the city. For modders who want a massive Whiterun overhaul with compatibility patches.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fixes the annoying CTDs that plague JK+RYN and Metropolis combos—huge quality-of-life win
- Packs multiple popular Whiterun overhauls into one install, saving you from juggling patches
- Active updates (last updated Feb 2025) and a solid download count (5k) show it's being used
⚠️ Cons
- Known navmesh issue means NPCs won't use doors from Metropolis inside the city—breaks immersion
- Installation guide is unclear, especially for the Whiterun has Walls patch, and the author admits patches aren't officially updated
- Compatibility risk: requires careful load order and patch overwrites, and may conflict with other Whiterun mods not listed
For Skyrim modders who want a massive, combined Whiterun overhaul and are willing to troubleshoot load order. If you're not comfortable with manual patch management or need NPCs to path properly indoors, skip this one.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to load the patches in the exact order listed in the description to avoid CTDs.
- If you use Whiterun has Walls, ensure this mod's patch overwrites its plugins and delete plane marker records as instructed.
- Test for CTDs after installing by fast-traveling to Whiterun and walking around the exterior.
