DESCRIPTION

For this original concept, I wanted an unorthodox follower who was still effective. She's very overweight and a little older than most followers (around 40ish), but she still has her training as knight who never got the call to action. The idea is that she used to be a very physically fit knight who trained constantly as a Dragon Slayer, but since Dragons weren't around anymore, the position as a Dragon Knight was held as a tradition and hardly respected. I wanted her to be a little older as well, living a retired and mostly calm life but when dragons are spotted, she's ready to dust off her weapons but her armor doesn't fit anymore.

Isabelle was born to a noble family in Anvil, but she had dreams of being a knight in High Rock. There were no positions open for the Knight's Order, but there was room for a Dragon Knight. Back when the dragons roamed the skies, dragon Knights specialized in fighting them to protect the land. Now days, ever since dragons were thought to be extinct, the Dragon Knights continue to train mainly as tradition and so that the practice wouldn't die out. There were less and less of them and Isabelle was the only one left who took the position seriously even if others didn't consider them real knights. She and the three other Dragon Knights weren't allowed to handle tasks that other knights dealt with as their position wasn't considered practical. She was the only one who took her training seriously. Although the fighting style and tactics were for fighting dragons, she felt she could handle herself in a battle.

Disheartened after years of training with no battles, she retired and had a house built in Highrock where she lived as a noblewoman. Over the years of living a luxurious, albeit, unfulfilling life she no longer trained and became out of shape. She spent her time managing her family's wine company in the Highrock branch. When dragons emerged however, she was ready to put her training to the test. Her armor no longer fit, but she considered passing on her training to others, but she didn't care for the knight's order who mocked her position. They likely wouldn't have accepted her anywhere. She headed off to Skyrim where there were reports of many dragons roaming. Her armor no longer fit, so she left it behind relying on her enchanted sword and shield.
