📋 About This Mod

Using the skeleton extender function from IED, this mod will add some extra nodes that you can assign weapons to, using the in-game UI.

REQUIREMENTS

Immersive Equipment Displays(IED for short): and its requirements.

GETTING STARTED

After installing the mod and loading the game, open IED's UI and navigate to: View>Gear positioning(or gear nodes).

Choose where to apply, Global or Actor for example and toggle "Placement".

Toggle "Unrestricted placement" if you are not seeing the nodes.

Extra nodes available:

One-handed sword, back hip:

Two-handed, back hip:

Same node as above, but for Two-Handed weapons.

P. S.: With Combat Gameplay Overhaul, you can dual wield two-handed weapons, if you want to use this node for the left weapons, you'll need to:

- Use Simple Dual Sheath.

- Open SimpleDualSheath.ini and navigate to - .

- Add Player in Flags.

- Then change SheathNode to WeaponBackLeft - WeaponBackAxeMaceLeft.

Flags=Player

SheathNode=WeaponBackLeft

Flags=Player

SheathNode=WeaponBackAxeMaceLeft

In IED's UI navigate to View>Gear Nodes>Placement, expand Two-Handed Left and select the corresponding node:

Two-handed, FSM Left:

At hip node for Two-Handed left weapons, follow the same steps above and change the node in the UI. Shouldn't be used without CGO.

One-handed mace, back:

One-handed mace, reversed:

P. S.: These won't look really good because of the scabbards.

Staff, on hips:

To be used with a mod that adds pistols or one-handed crossbows to the game. They usually use the Staff as a weapon.

Shield, left hand:

If you are using Simple Dual Sheath with Shield on Back option and want to reposition the shield to the hand during specific conditions.

When raining and using EVG Conditional Idles, Shield Cover:

There's a preset included for this in the misc files section.

When using a shield that doesn't look good on back, like the mod Guardian Shield - God of War, and the now deleted Guardian Shield Animated:

Or when using a cloak:

Shield, left upper arm:

You can have equip/unequip animations for most of these nodes if using my other mod: Weapon Styles - Draw/Sheathe Animations.[/

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Install Immersive Equipment Displays first, then drop this config into the IED folder.
