[
]Removes pointless log spam from the USSEP scripts[]Suppresses some of the vanilla messages made redundant by this mod
[]Gift Menu will automatically prevent Quest Items from being placed on Weapon Racks & Displays
Compatibility & Info For Mod Authors:
Since this overhaul has been achieved without editing any vanilla records, the new display method will be seamlessly available to any modded displays that use the vanilla objects and/or scripts.
Whilst measures have been taken to ensure incorrectly configured racks, or racks with the wrong scripts, function as best they can proper fixes to those issues may require cell/reference/record edits that are outside the scope of this mod. If those fixes were included in this mod they'd need to be forwarded where needed anyway. For best results, one should refer to the displays as they've been set up in USSEP.
Mods that have extended the "RackType" property for additional types of displays will simply be shown an unfiltered Gift Menu instead of one that better matches what kinds of items it can accept. This can easily be improved upon if you contact me, or let me know here.
Displaying Additional Item Types:
New Display Keywords are available from version 1. 3. By adding these keywords to your items they can be displayed with priority in the same position and rotation as a weapon or shield. The keywords are evaluated in alphabetical order as follows:
IDO_DisplayKeyword - ALL items using this system need this keyword for optimization purposes!
IDO_DisplayAsBattleaxeKeyword - Item will be displa

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 2,058 endorsements and 197k downloads show it's a go-to mod.
- Saves time and hassle—no more fiddling with equipping items just to show them off.
- Light plugin means it won't bloat your save or cause script lag.
⚠️ Cons
- Only works for items that can be displayed in vanilla—no new display types added.
- May conflict with other mods that alter the display interface or inventory UI.
- Last updated in early 2024, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches.
For players who love decorating their homes and want a smoother way to set up displays without the equip-then-place dance. Also great for modded playthroughs where inventory management is already a chore. Skip if you're looking for new display furniture or expanded display options—this is purely a convenience tweak.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a light plugin, place it near the end of your load order to avoid conflicts with UI mods.
- Test with a few items first to ensure it works with your other mods, especially if you use inventory overhaul mods.
- If you use a mod manager, let it handle the install to keep your load order clean.
