Assemble

Requested by many, Hookshot v2 lets the player enchant gauntlets or rings with "Hookshot Assembly". Simply equip the Hookshot and gain the knowledge to do so. See v2 showcase to learn more.

Traverse

The Hookshot is useful to more easily cross over and navigate around obstacles. Simply aim and shoot at any collision. Make a quick escape. Travel roof to roof. Quickly scale that mountain. There are many possible use cases but do so responsibly. Skyrim wasn't developed with the Hookshot in mind.

Launch

When holding ⬆️, the Hookshot will allow the player to overshoot their target location. Do so to clear a fort wall. With Skyrim's Paraglider - ONE, do so to traverse straight into a glide.

Using the Hookshot on an enemy target will cause them to stagger.

If an enemy target does not have a shield equipped and ready, the Hookshot will deal damage effected by the player's Archery skill and the target's armor. There is also a flat 30% chance critical damage may be applied for 50-100% of the base damage.

Based on player directional input when attacking, the Hookshot can disarm enemies of their shields/one-handed weapons. The success rate of this ability is dependent on the player's Archery skill. No damage is done when the player attempts a disarm. Hold ⬅️ to make an attempt on their right hand or ➡️ to make an attempt on their left hand.

Without a shield and without enough stamina to defend it, the enemy target becomes vulnerable to being taken down and dragged towards the player. To accomplish this, the player must be holding ⬇️ while attacking with the Hookshot and have a current stamina twice that of the target. This will cost the player's stamina half the target's current stamina. However, if the target isn't combat ready, the target will be caught off guard and brought to the ground regardless of their current stamina. This maneuver will only cost the player's stamina 25% of the target's stamina.
