I love Northern Roads, but the stockades in the mod are very bad looking. They stick out even against the same arch it sits by. Luckily, Higher Poly Stockade fixed that issue for me.
However, I still found the textures very ugly. I decided I would use the same stockade texture as Tomato's Wood mod, which not only looks much better but actually matches the arch in Whiterun quite well in my honest opinion.
This mod retextures the Higher Poly Stockade from Northern Roads using Tomato's Wood textures, giving the stockades a more detailed wood appearance. It's a simple visual upgrade for Skyrim players using Northern Roads who want better-looking stockades. With 138 endorsements and frequent updates, it's a niche but appreciated cosmetic addition.
