📋 About This Mod
Description
I was looking at Inigo and Lucien interacting together, in particular having Inigo train Lucien in Sneak, which basically involves them playing Hide and Seek.
This made me think: How about playing hide and seek with kids also raised your sneak? As such I made this mod.
How it works
When playing Hide and Seek with kids, each time you discover them, or they discover you, you'll get a certain amount of experience in the Sneak skill.
This can happen up to 6 times per 24 hours. (You can change the amount of hours and base XP using console commands.)
The 1st time you'll gain 100% of the XP.
The 2nd time, you'll gain 50%.
The 3rd time, you'll gain 33%.
The 4th time, you'll gain 25%.
The 5th time, you'll gain 20%.
The 6th time, you'll gain 10+.
After being discovered, or discovered the kid for a 6th time, you'll no longer gain XP and need to wait 24 hours.
Customization
You can use the following console commands to customise this mod:
set WIGamesHideAndSeek_XPBase to X
X is the amount of base XP. (default is 50, which is enough to get you from level 15 in sneak to 20, after 5 games, when using the vanilla leveling speed.)
set WIGamesHideAndSeek_ResetHours to X
X is the amount of hours needed to reset the XP gained. (default is 24)
Known Issues
There's a Vanilla bug that sometimes makes the amount of games trigger multiple times.
Compatibility
This mod is most likely incompatible or inconsistent with mods that alter how XP is gained. That doesn't mean, it will crash, but you might get too much XP, too few XP or none at all.
Q: Does installing/updating/uninstalling on an existing save work?
A: As far as I know, it should. However, it's good practice to keep a backup save prior to doing this, just in case.
