Grassreach - A Blackreach Grass Mod

Description

New grasses and strange plants come to Blackreach, giving it a livelier feel, while staying sparse enough to not undo the rocky, cavernous biome.  I didn't want Blackreach to feel like it was an overgrown verdant biome, so I was sparing with the distribution.

You will find numerous strange, new, never-before-seen grasses and plants, befitting of such a humid, bizarre, and magical place.  I did my best to ensure no grass is growing through any structures or objects, but you may still find some here and there.

The meshes are optimized, and on my system there is zero performance impact, but that will vary greatly system to system.

Installation & Compatibility

Install and go!  This works on all versions of Skyrim Special Edition and Anniversary Edition.

Major overhauls and additions to Blackreach may need a patch to prevent grasses from growing into structures.  It's recommended to use No Grass in Objects.

In Skyrim.ini, make sure this value is set appropriately to see all the grass types:

iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=16

In your ENB settings, make sure you have "interior complex grass" enabled.

  Without either of these, the grass will look very odd and chopped-up due to the texture layout required.  In the base game, grass does not receive lighting, so it would just be black anyway, so ENB or CS are essential.
