Future Plans:

make equip animations for daggers, axes and maces that transition nicely to the mid stance (with a spell in the left hand)

Known Issues:

- the upper body does a weird little rotation to the left when casting offensive spells. I'll have to remake the casting animation to fix

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This mod merges Vanargand One Handed Animations with Goetia Magic Animations, adding small edits so they transition smoothly for spellsword characters. It's a niche compatibility patch for Skyrim players who use both animation mods and want seamless combat casting. With 197 endorsements and recent updates, it's a modest but useful addition.

✨ Key Features

Adds small edits to Vanargand One Handed Animations and Goetia Magic Animations for smoother transitions
Designed specifically for spellsword gameplay, blending melee and magic animations
Requires both Vanargand One Handed Animations and Goetia Magic Animations as dependencies

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 197 endorsements and over 31k downloads
  • Fills a real gap for spellsword players who want cohesive animations
  • Recently updated (June 2025), so it's likely compatible with current mod versions

⚠️ Cons

  • Requires two separate animation mods, so setup is more involved than a standalone mod
  • Only affects animation transitions—no new animations or gameplay changes
  • Potential conflicts with other animation overhauls that modify the same files
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who already use Vanargand One Handed Animations and Goetia Magic Animations and want smoother transitions when switching between sword and spells. Skip if you don't use both mods or prefer standalone animation packs.
