The Forgotten Vale is notoriously difficult with Survival Mode enabled because there is no way of sleeping or cooking unless you go back to where Gelebor is, which isn't even possible until you kill Vyrthur. This wasn't a problem before Survival Mode released, but I took it upon myself to fix it. The wayshrine at the end of Darkfall Passage now has a bed and a cooking pot, which is how it should've been to begin with.
That's it, ESL flagged, no vanilla record edits, safe to uninstall, yada yada.
