📋 About This Mod
Description
This mod makes Destruction level faster. Destruction is normally the slowest leveling skill in the game by far. Also, while One-handed, Two-handed, and Archery level faster on higher difficulties, Destruction actually levels even slower on higher difficulties. This is because Destruction experience is based on the damage actually dealt to enemies, rather than on base damage of the weapon or spell like One-handed, Two-handed, and Archery experience. This means that if you want to be an effective Destruction mage, you are stuck in the awkward position of having to either grind up your Destruction skill very slowly versus weak enemies, or spend all of your money training the skill. You're supposed to be good at this! This mod lets you solve this problem and bring Destruction in line with the other combat skills (and other magic skills, which also level much faster). Other mods exist to increase the speed of all leveling, or to increase leveling speeds in a customized way using SKSE. I made this mod for people who, like me, feel that Destruction specifically levels too slowly, and who don't use SKSE right now.
I recommend the 2x option if you play on Novice or Apprentice Difficulty, 3x for Adept, 4x for Expert, 5x for Master, 10x for Legendary, and 15x if you just want to get to level 100 already!
Use the compatibility version if you use mods that alter the Destruction perk tree. The compatibility version includes all of the leveling speed options and is compatible with everything, but requires use of the console to activate it. See the installation instructions below.
