📋 About This Mod
Fashions of the Banditry is one of the highest quality armor pack you can find on nexus. It fits fully seamlessly into the world. But I personally don't really agree with how they are distributed, so I made this mod.
Armor stats have been adjusted where needed to make sense within Skyrim armor tier system. Distribution has been adjusted so now all armors will start to appear based on their tier, which means no more high-end troll ossuary set spawning on level 1.
Troll Ossuary Set:
-
[]Stats similar to chitin heavy tier
[
]Appears at level 25
-
[]Nerfed from dwarven to bonemold tier (armor made from scrap shouldn't be as good as real dwarven armor)
[
]Appears at level 10
-
[]Slightly better leather set
[
]Appears at level 7
-
[]Steel set exactly matches steel tier, steel trimmed armor is weaker
[
]Appears at level 6
-
[]Nerfed from dwarven to bonemold tier (armor made from scrap shouldn't be as good as real dwarven armor)
[
]Appears at level 10
-
[]Slightly better fur set
[
]Draugr helmets are imperial light tier[]Appears at level 1
- []Slightly better leather set
- Appears at level 6
Bandit bosses wear default OWL armor (iron/steel/steel plate) to avoid jarring armor mismatch.
This mod integrates Fashions of the Banditry with Open World Loot leveled lists, rebalances stats, and ensures logical item distribution. It's for Skyrim players using both mods who want bandit gear to appear consistently and be properly balanced.

- Fixes a real gap by making Fashions of the Banditry work with OWL's leveled lists
- Keeps bandit gear distribution sensible, so you won't see endgame armor on every thug
⚠️ Cons
- Only works if you have both Fashions of the Banditry and Open World Loot installed
- Last updated in 2022, so it might not be compatible with newer versions of the mods
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter OWL leveled lists
For Skyrim players who use both Fashions of the Banditry and Open World Loot and want their bandit gear to show up properly and be balanced. Skip if you don't use both mods or if you prefer unleveled loot systems.
