📋 About This Mod
-mod overview-
a remake of my previous hdt tail mod , changed meshes and uv map of most tails and added a bunch of new one , including two new demon tails (long and short) , they all match your body texture and skin tone, and you can equip them as armor or add them as body part with a new racemenu slider under "body".
support both genders. racemenu
I may add more tails in the future, any subjection is welcome!
-installation-
install with your mod manager of choice
-requirement-
HDT-SMP- You will need this to get the physics effects
SKSE - This is required for HDT SMP.
HDT-SMP-No avx-try this one if your tails fall through the ground

little totuorial on making armor item in to racemenu body part:
most armor are pretty simple , you just open CK and make a new head part and assign your mesh to it then set it as scar or facial hair then you can find them in you racemenu slider ,but for the nif the contain multiple meshes it will only use the first mesh , so in order to make them work you need too separate your armor meshes into individual nif then load them as extra part then add them to your head part.
and to make smp armor work properly you need to make sure your object id name matches the mesh's name or the collision won't work.
when making the racemenu tail I also have to make separate collisions parts for each and every tail, cause when using the same collision mesh for different tails the physics goes crazy, is quite labor-intensive work.
on making new slider for racemenu see this mod

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 969 endorsements and over 164k downloads
- Adds male support, which the original likely lacked
- Body texture matching means tails blend with your character
⚠️ Cons
- Requires HDT SMP and RaceMenu, so setup is more involved than a simple replacer
- Last updated in early 2023, so may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim versions
- Potential conflicts with other body mods or RaceMenu presets
For Skyrim players who want to add fantasy creature tails to their character, especially those who play males and were left out by the original. If you're into RaceMenu customization and have HDT SMP working, this is a solid pick. Skip if you don't use RaceMenu or want a simple plug-and-play mod.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure HDT SMP is installed and working before adding this, or the tails won't move properly.
- Use RaceMenu's sculpt mode to position the tails exactly where you want them on your character.
- Check for compatibility patches if you use other body mods like CBBE or UNP.
