Features

• []Over 300 New Random Encounters: You'll see mercenaries out in the world doing their job, adventurers traveling into dungeons, guards clearing bandit camps, and much more. New visitors may sometimes show up at settlements, towns, and cities from time to time. NPCs may also deviate from their regular routine to visit different locations on their own.

  []Faction Raids: Factions can raid specific locations. You may see bandit raids and civil war skirmishes on forts and camps held by an opposing faction. You can also turn on bandit raids on settlements, towns, and cities in the MCM though these are disabled by default.

  []Immersive Danger: Sleeping and waiting in or fast traveling to a dangerous location such as a bandit camp or vampire lair may also lead to an encounter with denizens that call those places home.

  []Lightweight and Compatible: This mod is lightweight, automatically cleans up generated NPCs, and makes zero edits. It can be used alongside other similar mods such as Immersive World Encounters, Immersive Patrols, Radiance, and so on.[/]

  An MCM is included that allows you to toggle all features added by this mod.

  Requirements

  For the MCM you will need SKSE and SkyUI. For Situation Encounters you will need SKSE. The rest of the mod will still function fine if you do not want to install them.

  Manual Installation

  • []Download the mod from the Files section.

    []Unzip the contents of the zip file to your Skyrim Special Edition Data folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data.

    []Confirm you have the following files in your Skyrim Special Edition Data folder:

    Extended Encounters.esp

    Extended Encounters.bsa

    Extended Encounters - Textures.bsa

    []Open %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition\plugins.txt and add Extended Encounters.esp after your master files.

    []Save the file.

    []Launch Skyrim Special Edition.

    Q. Do I need additional plugins like SKSE?

    A. SKSE and SkyUI will be required if you want to change any settings via the MCM, but this mod will function perfectly fine without them and all settings can be changed with console commands as documented in the Readme File. Situation Encounters such as Sleep, Wait and Fast Travel encounters will also require SKSE. If SKSE is not installed they will simply not occur.

    Q. Is this ESL flagged?

    A. Yes. An ESL version of the mod is available to download as well as a non-ESL version.
