Elenwen Visits Justiciar HQ Weekly

Summary

After you complete the three quests Elenwen is involved in (MQ101, MQ201, & MQ302), she just stays locked up forever in the Thalmor Embassy. What if you need her neck to complete the Blue Blood quest in Sacrosanct? What if you want to exact revenge for the assassins she sent your way? After all, she is no longer marked as Essential once the Main Quest is complete.

There's no legit way to make your way back inside the embassy. All the doors in are locked & unpickable. But ... what if Elenwen came out?

This mod does just that! Once the three quests she is involved in are complete, Elenwen sets up a standing meeting at the Justiciar's Headquarters in Solitude every Tuesday to keep an eye on her Justiciars. Go and find her there or meet up on the road as she journeys back and forth. She won't be alone. She'll have a few minions with her!

What the mod does

• []This is a pretty simple mod. It's not adding any complex behavior, new dialog, etc.

  []Several new Packages are applied to Elenwen to make her travel from the Thalmor Embassy to the Justiciar's HQ in Solitude on Tuesday mornings, hang out at the HQ all day, and then travel back to the Thalmor Embassy in the evening.

  []If the Stormcloaks seize Solitude, Elenwen will travel to Northwatch Keep on Tuesdays, stay overnight, and then travel back to the Embassy on Wednesdays.

  []No scripts are utilized.

  Why?

  • []I was unable to complete the Blue Blood quest from Sacrosanct without having access to Elenwen. Unfortunately, the order in which I completed quests this time around removed other, more accessible, necks along the way. Fortunately, I only needed one more. Mwahahaha!

    []It helped my immersion to not use the console to reach Elenwen in the Embassy. Maybe it will help yours, too! So, I decided to publish the mod.

    Choose your version

    • []One utilizes SPID to distribute the Packages to Elenwen, thus keeping compatibility with any NPC replacer you might use.

      []The other adds the Packages directly to Elenwen's NPC record. If you use an NPC replacer for Elenwen, you will need to forward the changes via xEdit. Make sure to keep this mod's packages in the 0 through 8 position, so that they take priority.

      Requirements

      SPID for the SPID version.

      USSEP is not a requirement, however the two USSEP changes are forwarded in the ESP.

      []Elenwen's minions don't always keep up with her. Sorry! If anyone knows a better vanilla package to assign to them so that they keep up better, let me know!
