Overview

Sculpt a face in RaceMenu, then let Effigy turn it into a complete, shareable follower.

No Creation Kit. No manual FaceGen. No hunting through folders for the right textures.

Effigy is a desktop app that takes a RaceMenu face export and builds a standalone Skyrim follower from it: the face, every asset that face needs, the stats, perks, spells, and an outfit, all packaged and ready to install. You import four files, walk a short wizard, and Effigy writes the plugin and copies every asset into its own per-follower folder.

Because it reads the exported head and each head part's texture set to decide exactly what your follower renders, it packages what the face actually uses and nothing it does not. The result is a self-contained follower you can drop into your own game or zip up and share.

Face Import

[]Import a RaceMenu face - point Effigy at your exported Head NIF, Head DDS, JSLOT preset, and SavePCFace export, and it builds the follower's face from them. Effigy can generate both male and female followers. Effigy can also create followers with racemenu SMP hair - not wigs. You can then use wigs in top of that racemenu hair. Most SMP hair mods were tested, but if you run into one that doesn't work, please report it in the bug section.[/]

[]Broken exports caught at import - if a RaceMenu preset names head parts the exported head does not actually contain, Effigy refuses it, names exactly which parts are missing, and tells you how to fix it, so you never ship a black-faced follower[/]
