Dynamic Scarring and Healing

This is a lightweight SKSE plugin that dynamically applies a random scar to your character when hit under a health threshold. Scars then heal and fade away over time. The health threshold, scar chance, max scar count, and heal rate are all customizable via MCM.

Performance impact should be low to nonexistent. The mod uses SKSE to efficiently scan for hits, while Papyrus scripts are only used to apply the scars, ensuring a minimal performance footprint. It is also ESL flagged so it won't take up a load order slot.

  (You need at least one of the optional mods for this mod to do anything.)

  Important

  Increase your RaceMenu overlay limit to be able to see more scars and use other overlays simultaneously. This is optional but highly recommended.

  This mod uses RaceMenu's body overlays from slot 0 up to the slot you set in the MCM. If you are using custom overlays, ensure you set them after the max scar limit, or this mod will override them and treat them as scars to be faded.

  Known Issue

  Switching the player's gender via RaceMenu will cause scars to stop applying/fading until the gender is changed back. Essentially, you cannot change your gender mid-game.
