📋 About This Mod
Make fluffy fur compatible with armors.
Update 1. 1:
Added a new slider for paw feet compatibility.
This is a modding resource to make fluffy characters with, it includes fluffy shell mesh fur and scripts to morph the fur meshes dynamicly base on the configed armor keywords.
Fluffy Cat girls are cool, but they don't play well with armors, and this mod is my attempt to fix that.
How the mod work:
The fur meshes in this mod comes with a butch "FM" sliders that morph parts of the mesh inward, by using the combination of them and different morph values, we can fix clipping for armors dynamically.
If the actor has the fur mesh and the fur morph spell on them, upon equipping armors the script on the spell checks for any keywords attached on the armors with the "FM" prefix and thier value and use them to apply body morph on the fur mesh to fix clipping with armors.
If the armor doesn't have valid keywords, it will use a fallback morph for them, Body32 ,Hands33 ,Feet37 only. The fallback morph wont look very fitting, and you can disable the fallback by removing the semicolon (;) in the FM_No_FallBack_KID.ini; it will distribute blank keywords to all affected armors.
There are already a butch armor config in the optional files.
How to use the mod to make Characters:
Make a new bodyfur armor addon by copying from the mod and add it into the skin armor of your character, it use slot 60
Make a set of fur textures by using the texture mask resource in the optional files and assign them to each layer of the matching mesh, you dont need a seperat one for body and fur, they can use the same one, use blank texture on the neck if you dont need neck fur.
Then add the Fur_Morph_Spell to the actor or the race, also add the "have neck fur" keyword too if you use neck fur, if not the neck fur will be set to hidden, Thats pretty much it.
How to make Configs for armors:
You can write it by hand by loading in armors into oufitstudio with the fur mesh and just see what combination work, or use the make config spell to make config ingame, you need the Screen Archer menu for that.
A Spell call:"Fur_Morph_MakeConfig" will be add to the player on game load. To use the spell just remove all the armors on you, and only equip the one armor you want to patch, and then open the screen archer menu and click Bodymorph, Fur_Morph_Key, All, Reset all the sliders to 0, and you can start using the FM sliders to fix the clippings. Try equipping and unequipping something if you don't see Fur_Morph_Key.
After you're done, just cast the spell and the message will say
