📋 About This Mod
Description
Many dunmers living in Windhelm's Gray Quarter still think about their destroyed homeland. They decided to bring at least some parts of their cultural heritage into their new location of residence and try to make it less foreign. That's why they're filling their houses with furniture shipped from Solstheim or created locally in the style of Vvardenfell's homes.
Mod uses Base Object Swapper to replace all the Grey Quarter interiors' furniture for their dark elf counterparts, introducing new and retextured models.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 1.7 million downloads and 1,574 endorsements show it's a go-to for many players
- Simple, focused addition that makes the Gray Quarter feel more lived-in and authentic
- Recently updated (Feb 2025), so it's likely compatible with current Skyrim versions
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the Gray Quarter—if you want broader city overhauls, this won't cover other areas
- No screenshots or install instructions in the description, so you'll need to test it yourself
For Skyrim players who want to make Windhelm's Gray Quarter feel more like a real Dunmeri enclave without a massive overhaul. If you're into lore-friendly immersion and don't mind a small, focused mod, this is for you. Skip if you're looking for major gameplay changes or city-wide overhauls.
