📋 About This Mod

Turn Skyrim's quests, factions, skills, supernatural transformations, property, businesses, and accumulated wealth into a flexible progression shop containing 273 optional purchases and services. Spend large amounts of gold to shape the

What is Dragonborn Boon Chronicle?

Dragonborn Boon Chronicle is a controller-friendly, story-aware progression and gold-sink system designed for long Skyrim playthroughs. It adds a Dragonborn Boon Chronicle lesser power that opens a categorized menu. From that menu, you can:

- See purchases that are currently available.

- Read the requirements for rewards that are still locked.

- Review everything already purchased and its exact effect.

- Receive notifications when new categories gain available purchases.

- Buy only the rewards that suit the character you are actually playing.

The Chronicle does not force a particular campaign order. Although it began as a supplement for one character's long-form story, unlocks are driven by the player's own quests, skill levels, transformations, homes, accomplishments, and optional-mod progress. A warrior, mage, thief, vampire, werewolf, merchant, settlement builder, completionist, or hybrid character can therefore reach the catalog in a different order and buy a different combination of boons.

Nothing is granted automatically. Meeting a condition merely makes its purchase available. The player still decides whether the reward fits the build and whether it is worth the price.

The intended economy

This mod is deliberately expensive. It is meant to give wealthy characters and very long playthroughs something meaningful to spend money on, not to hand out early-game power cheaply. Small training ranks begin in the thousands, while major faction rewards and capstones can cost tens or even hundreds of thousands of gold.

A stronger economy is recommended. Business, property, bounty, crafting, or passive-income mods work particularly well. Coinmaster is directly supported by the World Integrations plugin, but it is not mandatory; any balanced way of earning additional money can support the Chronicle's economy. Players using only vanilla income should expect to make difficult choices and acquire the catalog gradually.

The core also gives dragon hunting a lasting purpose: one Dragon Soul can be exchanged for 2,500 gold, or three Dragon Souls can become one perk point, with a maximum of 20 Chronicle perk-point conversions per save.

- 273 purchases and services: 223 in the core, 20 for supported quest mods, and 30 for supported world/economy mods.

- Story-aware unlocks: major vanilla and DLC arcs generally receive beginning, middle, and end rewards, with extra milestones where appropriate.

- Every skill supported: three mastery purchases for each of Skyrim's eighteen skills, plus four Ordinator Alchemy extensions.

- Build-neutral progression: improvements cover attributes, resistances, regeneration, weapon and spell efficiency, crafting, stealth, leadership, followers, survival, travel, and specialized powers.

- Hunter's Senses: a permanent post-lycanthropy utility menu with Night Eye and selectable Detect Living, Detect Dead, or combined detection.

- Coldharbour's Scar: a permanent three-word post–Vampire Lord shout that sacrifices Health for increasingly powerful timed Magicka, Stamina, speed, regeneration, and cost-reduction effects.

- Black Sacrament and other active tools: story and skill capstones include limited-use powers rather than only passive statistics.

- Ordinator integration: expands Twin Enchantment/Miracle progression and adds a safer, broader oil system with standard and projectile oil powers.

- Controller-first menus: no SkyUI or MCM is required.

- Xbox-compatible design: no SKSE, DLL, native-code plugin, Nemesis, FNIS, or PC-only runtime component.

Important release notes

- A new game is required. Catalog quests and their property arrays are stored in saves. Updating an older test save can leave newly added purchases invisible even though their records exist.

- Install all selected DBC plugins and scripts as one matched version. Do not mix ESP or PEX files from earlier releases.

- Do not uninstall the core or remove an add-on after buying its permanent abilities.

- Static validation has passed, but Skyrim and Xbox runtime behavior still requires normal gameplay testing, especially for optional-mod ports whose internal records may differ between PC and Xbox versions.

- Missing optional integrations fail closed: their purchases remain locked rather than granting rewards based on an unverified record.
