Detailmap Seamfix - Skyrim SE

Ever wondered why, despite installing seamless textures mods and seeing all those seamless pictures, your game still isn't?

There is one extra file that most texture mods do not condider, the blankdetailmap.dds however this small seemingly useless file is used by ALL NPCs and Player characters.

Of course there are some mods that have this file already included, like some of my mods:

Males of Skyrim

Women of Skyrim

However i still see people comlaining about seams, every once in a while, so here's a standalone version of this fix.

This mod will not magically solve all your seams issues. A proper set of seamless head and body textures is still required.

What's a detailmap?

Skyrim heads use 5 textures, the common 4 you can also find in the body, and are usually those included in the skin texture mods.

This mod has nothign to do with those 4 textures, but edits the fiffth one, the detailmap.

What are detail maps? they are those textures used in the COMPLEXION slider, (yes, the freckles, old age etc...)

If you select the default one, it'll use the blankdetailmap, that is essentially supposed to do "NOTHING".

The problem is thta the vanilla one, is too bright, causing a slight seam and color difference between head and body (small, but still noticiable).

This mod fixes that problem.
