  Overview

  Mod utilizes a small script that runs once (at game initialization) to randomly equip one (1) or two (2) spell tomes to a curated group of mage NPCs. Mod randomly distributes tomes to NPCs in the following factions:

  • []College of Winterhold

    []Court Wizards

    []Spell Trainers

    []Warlocks (min level = 19)

    []Necromancers (min level = 19)

    []Bandit Plunders and Bandit Marauders

  • Thalmor Wizards

    All groups can be mixed, matched, increased, reduced even disabled in the _DISTRI.ini. In fact, you can re-configure the mod to distribute tomes to any NPC and / or any group of NPCs that you wish!

    Equippable Tomes - Belt Worn Book - Special Edition includes spell tomes from all schools of magic (Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion, and Restoration) - and includes eight (8) unique tomes. In addition, Equippable Tomes - Belt Worn Book - Special Edition includes enchanted and non-enchanted tomes. Please see Equippable Tomes - Belt Worn Book - Special Edition for an explanation about enchantments (or open mod up in xEdit). All tomes can be worn either on the left or right back hip - or both.

    Main mod distributes two (2) non-enchanted spell tomes to mage NPCs. Main mod is purely cosmetic and uses both body slots 48 and 55.

    One optional file distributes one (1) non-enchanted spell tome, using either body slot 48 or 55. This optional file provides users a reduced number of body slots so users can equip something else. This optional file is entirely cosmetic as well.

    Another optional file distributes one (1) enchanted spell tome, using either body slot 48 or 55.

    A third optional file distributes two (2) enchanted spell tomes, using both body slots 48 and 55.

    Pick one file to use.

    I do not know if enchantments extend to NPCs, but I have included them anyway. If enchantments do extend to NPCs, then NPC mages will be very very strong. You have been warned.
