Craftable Team TAL Armors - Plugins Only

This mod does NOT contain the actual armors or any other art assets such as meshes, textures or bodyslide conversions. This mod simply makes the armors craftable. You will need to download the actual armors from the various mod authors.

Background

Team TAL creates a lot of wonderful physics-enabled armor for Skyrim Legendary Edition. However, they usually do not make their armors craftable at a forge, they only create a temper recipe. The armor stats and the temper recipes are usually not very well balanced in relation to the standard vanilla armors. To access the armor, players have to rely on using Add Item Menu or the console. Some armors have been converted to Skyrim Special Edition by various authors. The conversions continue with this tradition however and as such it’s not possible to craft these armors.

I have personally rebalanced all armor stats and created recipes for them to make it possible to get these items in a normal way, i.e. by crafting them. The armor stats and recipes are based on the stats of a vanilla set. I have tried to tailor the weight, armor and ingredients required based on the look and functionality of the armor. Some of the armor sets are slightly better than the vanilla armor set they are based on whereas some are slightly worse. In general, I would say that the armors require a bit more resources to craft than regular armors but that is not always the case. Furthermore, very skimpy armors will not provide that much protection. The gold value of the armor pieces are calculated based on the value ratio of the underlying vanilla armor piece which ensures that the values of all armor pieces you craft are equal to the cost to value ratio of the vanilla armor piece it's based on.

This mod comes with a FOMOD installer to help you select which armors you want to make craftable. Armor stats and crafting and temper recipes can be found in the image section due to Nexus not having enabled BB code support for creating tables. Pieces that cannot be tempered are indicated by not requiring any resources.

As previously mentioned, this mod only contains recipes and balance changes and not the armors themselves. You need to download them from third party sites to use this mod.

Regarding Download Sources

Most conversions have been done by em486 which I think is a South Korean modder who also goes by the name of 착륙하는로켓 or Rocket Landing in English. Some, but not all, conversions of his have been uploaded to Lovers Lab under his western profile em486. However, all updates and new armors he procudes are only uploaded to t
