📋 About This Mod
PREFACE
SkyUI does not allow the player to assign the controls for the favorites menu groups when using a controller. This mod fixes that and allows the player to assign the favorites menu group functions to any button on the controller. There are two things this mod does to achieve this. The first is to make a slight tweak to the config.json file located in MCM\Config\SkyUI_SE\Config.json of MCM Helper to allow SkyUI's MCM to display the option to change the favorites menu group functions when a controller is connected. The second is to make a tiny change to the favoritesmenu.swf file included in SkyUI and some of its reskins. Because of this, there has to be a different version of this mod for some reskins. Any mod that overwrites favoritesmenu.swf in SkyUI will need its own version to keep the same same look of that reskin's favorites menu.
INSTALLATION
- Place this mod below MCM Helper and any mods containing "favoritesmenu.swf" in your load order.
- If no mod containing "favoritesmenu.swf" is present in your load order, use the version titled ". SkyUI base version" located in the "FILES" section.
- If a mod containing "favoritesmenu.swf" is present in your load order, make sure to choose the corresponding version from the "FILES" section. (if you have multiple mods containing "favoritesmenu.swf", only the lowest one in the load order matters in this case)
- If you are using a mod that currently does not have its own version in the "FILES" section, please request that version in the "POSTS" section of this mod page. I will do my best to make any version that is requested, as long as the creator of the requested mod allows that in their mod's permissions section.
