📋 About This Mod
This mod adds past battlefields around Skyrim to give a more realistic feeling that a civil war is happening in the country.
New Battlefields:
Most Battlefields have been reworked, and the remaining ones have been integrated into the time system that keeps track of when battlefields change.
Dynamic Battlefields:
As time goes on, battlefields will change. Fires will go out, bodies and loot will disappear, and some battles will not appear until you progress through the civil war.
Unique Battles:
Most battle sites will have unique flairs, be it occupied by bandits looting for gear, animals consuming the dead, wounded soldiers left behind, or just the quiet remains of bygone battles.
Massive thanks to DeviantKaled for the Ships and Boats of Tamriel and Jebbalon for the Hanged Man Corrected Scripts. These mods have made the mod better than I could have done on my own.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 5,822 endorsements and 3.1M downloads show it's a go-to for immersion.
- Lightweight concept: just adds static battlefields, so it won't tank your FPS or clutter your load order.
- Lore-friendly: fits right into Skyrim's setting without breaking immersion.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2022 — might have minor conflicts with newer mods or the AE update, though it's likely fine.
- Purely cosmetic: if you want gameplay changes or quests tied to the war, this isn't it.
For Skyrim players who want the world to feel more lived-in and war-torn without overhauling the game. If you're a roleplayer or immersion enthusiast, this is a must-have. Skip if you're looking for new quests or combat mechanics.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a simple world-editing mod, place it near the bottom of your load order to avoid conflicts with other location mods.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to install and manage it—makes uninstalling clean if you ever want to remove it.
- Check for patches if you use other mods that alter the same worldspaces, like Open Cities or city overhauls.
