Children of the Hist - An Argonian NPC Overhaul

We are the People of the Root, called 'Argonians' by the warmbloods. We go where we will, wet or dry, and the currents of blood magic run swift in our veins.

The Saxhleel are a diverse group, with tribes' appearances varying due to the will - or gloor- of their Hist tree. Scales, head shapes, and even tails may vary between them. Some have feathers, fins, horns, spikes, or a combo adorning their heads and tails. They range from the colorful Bright Throats, to the mysterious Naga, to the feathered Sarpa and even some that look practically humanoid.

In this mod, you will find highly customized Argonians with new 'hairs' based on other games in the series as well as a variety of textures (eyes, feathers, and even body scales) and other unique details like custom tails and even tongue color variations. My goal was to make Argonians more colorful and representative of the tribal variety suggested by the lore.

• []Not strictly compatible with mods that edit the same NPC records (appearance, skills, inventories, voice type, etc.) Whatever record is loaded last will show up in game. When in doubt, use xEdit to check and be aware of what any mods that work via SKSE/other script do.[/]

  []Should work fine with EasyNPC if you want to use it.[/]

  []If you are having issues, make sure no other mods editing the same NPCs in ANY way are loaded under this one. Use SSE Edit to check for conflicts. I will not be providing support if you're using Face Discoloration Fix.[/]

If loading midgame, use Save Unbaker or you might have gaps between bodies and necks

Be sure to re-run any patch generators (Synthesis, WryeBash, etc.) after installing or updating.

PGPatcher may cause issues, I personally just add 'actors' to the Mesh Block List (YMMV, 'FaceGenData' would probably be a more focused fix.)
