📋 About This Mod

This mod gives carriage drivers and ferrymen in cold locations some warm clothing. They wear a of mix of furs, hats, hoods, and Skaal clothing so DLC 2 Dragonborn is required. The following NPCs from Carriage Ferry Travel Overhaul (CFTO) are affected.

  • []Dawnstar carriage driver Berud

    []Dawnstar ferryman Harlaug

    []Windhelm carriage driver Alfarinn

    []Winterhold carriage driver Thors

    []Winterhold ferryman Jollsen

    Installation

    • []install Skyrim DLC 2 Dragonborn

[]install Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID)

[]install Carriage Ferry Travel Overhaul (CFTO)

[]install CFTO Fixes and Winterhold to get Thors

      []install my warm clothing mod

Best installed on a new game. If you install mid-playthrough, you may not see the changes. In that case, open the console with the ~ key. Click on the driver or ferryman. Type "resetinventory" without the quotes. Close the console. They will change into their warm outfit.

      Known Conflicts

Both my mod and Dead Man's Dread outfits for pirates and sailors affect the clothing of the ferrymen Harlaug (Dawnstar ferry) and Jollsen (Winterhold ferry). Since Dead Man's .ini file is alphabetically after my .ini file, it wins the conflict. To resolve the conflict, choose which mod you want to use to dress Harlaug and Jollsen, then use a text editor to remove them from the other mod's .ini file. Both .ini files (CFTO - Warm Clothing - SPID_DISTR.ini and DeadMansDreadOutfits_DISTR.ini) are in your Skyrim Data folder.

To remove from Dead Man's Dread, just find their two names and remove those two names (NOT the lines nor sections they are in).

To remove from CFTO - Warm Clothing, remove the entire lines with Harlaug (Dawnstar ferry) and Jollsen (Winterhold ferry).

You can also just comment out those two lines instead.

Don't like the choice of outfits here? You might like Carriage Drivers New Clothing and Ferrymen New Clothing by xtudo instead. Those mods are not SPIDded but instructions are in comments for distributing with SPID.
