HoHQE PATCH OBSOLETE ON VERSION 1. 2 OF CELESTINE
Extremely small, downright trivial conflict resolution patch made in SSEDIT for those who want to have Celestine with Wintersun installed (like I did). .esl flagged .esp, tested on 1. 0 and 1. 1 versions of Celestine.
I only touched the quest records for Waking Nightmare (DA16), so it should be compatible with anything that doesn't touch that (including replacers).
Wintersun:
Depending on load order, Celestine's override to the Waking Nightmare quest may prevent Wintersun's temptation mechanic from firing for Vaermina.
There were no game breaking conflicts, but this just adds a bit of consistency. You could argue that this patch is redundant, since Celestine is realistically going to hate you anyway if you deal with any of the Daedric Princes. The only use I can imagine for this is if you're playing as Erandur.
Load after dependencies.

Old description:
(OBSOLETE ON VERSION 1. 2 OF CELESTINE) HoHQE:
Tested both 'Good' and 'Evil' paths. Celestine has commentary on the vanilla 'Evil'
path and will respond accordingly when you finish it. She won't consider
you a Daedra worshipper if you complete the quest down the 'Good' path,
so you can have two SigmarStendarr-ites in your party now.
Unless you want to fight Tyranus and then defy Molag Balls by killing the priest of Boethiah instead, failing the quest and getting no rewards. Skyrim is supposed to be an RPG.
A basic conflict resolution patch for Skyrim that lets Celestine and Wintersun work together without inconsistencies. Made in SSEDIT, it's for players who want both mods installed. With 82 endorsements and recent updates, it's a niche but useful compatibility fix.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Does exactly what it says: makes Celestine and Wintersun play nice together.
- Lightweight and simple—no bloat, just the patch.
- Decent community trust with 82 endorsements and 27k downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Extremely basic—if you're expecting deep integration, this isn't it.
- Only useful if you run both Celestine and Wintersun; otherwise pointless.
- Potential compatibility risk if other mods touch the same records.
For Skyrim players who run both Celestine and Wintersun and want a clean, consistent experience without manual conflict fixing. Skip if you don't use both mods or if you prefer to handle conflicts yourself.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Place this patch after both Celestine and Wintersun in your load order to ensure it overrides correctly.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to install and manage the patch easily.
- If you use other mods that edit the same records, test in-game to ensure no unexpected conflicts.
