Mountains With the Detail They Deserve

I always found Skyrim's vanilla mountains to be okay looking — but they lacked detail. I looked at various mountain mods and noticed none of them had detailed microsurfaces. So I made my own.

Built entirely in Substance Designer as a procedural texture, with careful attention to the small things: holes, chips, cracks, dirt, weathering. The details you notice when you stop to look — and the details that make the world feel real even when you don't.

    — COMPATIBILITY —

    Works with everything except other mods that retexture mountains or quarries. If it doesn't touch those, you're good to go.

    — INSTALLATION —

    Vortex recommended to use the FOMOD installer.

    Manual: Go to Payload → NormalMaps and copy the Texture folder to Data. Then go to Payload → Diffuse, select your color, and copy the Texture folder to Data.
