📋 About This Mod
Bloodchill Manor is a beautiful creation by Elianora. I absolutely adore this home, but I thought some of it's features are a little extra. This modpage hosts modular tweaks, which you can install separately or all at once. You can pick and choose them any way you like (with the exception of No Staffmaker and Sorcerer Patch, as these modules do similar things).
DESCRIPTION
No Unique Displays
Bloodchill Manor adds displays specific to certain unique items - Dragon Claws, Dragon-Priest Masks, insect jars and some others. Identical displays are often encountered in other mods, and as such left empty. This plugin removes the displays and replaces them with some clutter and a fireplace.
No Dawnguard Displays
There are unique displays for quest items of Dawnguard DLC. This plugin, similarly to the previous one, removes those displays and places some decorative clutter in their place. This is a separate plugin from previous one, since Dawnguard-specific displays are more rare in house mods, and are more relevant to vampire-centric theme of Bloodchill Manor. Use this in conjunction with No Unique Displays to completely remove every display for unique items in the mod.
Balanced Items
Bloodchill Manor, as many creations, is balanced around late-game characters, but can be acquired relatively early. This mod removes and replaces some high-value/rarity items found in the manor - ebony armor pieces, rare vampire armor, heart stones, spell tomes and some others, including an obtainable version of Serana's hood. Consumables like scrolls and potions are preserved.
No Staffmaker
Staff Enchanting is a quest-locked mechanic in the vanilla game. Furthermore, it's Solstheim-specific, so most characters won't unlock it any time soon. And yet, it's easily available for free in the Bloodchill Manor. This plugin removes Staff Enchanting Station and replaces it with some low-value clutter.
Sorcerer Patch
An alternative to the No Staffmaker module. Replaces Staff Enchanting station with Sorcerer's Scroll Enchanting station.
Childfree
Replaces children's beds in the secondary bedroom with adult ones for your companions. Additionally removes most of the child-centric clutter like sweets and toys. Makes Dawnguard-themed practice dummy adult-sized.
INSTALLATION NOTES
Install with mod manager of your choice.
Doesn't require a new game, but make sure you don't have anything on the affected displays if you don't want to lose your items.
COMPATIBILITY
Should be compatible with everything. Load Castle Volkihar Music for Bloodchill Manor AFTER my mods, or else you won't get the changed music.
