📋 About This Mod

Buy stats (Health, Magicka, Stamina, Carry Weight, Movement Speed) and perk points.

Easily enable/disable everything or change prices mid-game.

Wide price ranges (200-100000 gold).

Compatible with everything, even mods that also change stats.

The maximum compatibility was achieved due to the way stats are added to the player. They are added through (almost) endlessly upgradeable enchanted rings, which you can equip\unequip anytime you want.

You can craft and upgrade the rings at any forge. They weigh nothing and don't take up a body slot.

One upgrade gives you +1 point of Health/Magicka/Stamina/Speed or +10 carry weight points. You can upgrade the ring 10000 times!

I know, crafting is not technically "buying", but you still exchange your gold for stats, only, instead of a merchant, you interact with a forge.

Buy (craft in a forge) and drink the perk point potion to get the perks.

The rings and the perk potion have low vendor price and, because of that, don't give you too much smithing experience during crafting.

Don't forget to equip the ring after upgrading it.

To declutter the crafting menu, the recipes will only show up if you have the required amount of gold.

After upgrading your first ring 100 times, you'll start making the second ring. Upgrade it 100 times, and you'll be able to merge two 100-lvl. rings into one ring, and then you can merge them with the other 100-lvl. rings. Lvl. 1000 rings also get merged together. That's how you can get to one +10000 HP ring, for example. (I know, that's a little overkill, but why not?)

Of course, you don't spend any gold on merging rings together.

So far there are 3 versions of the mod, each built differently from the ground up:

The Compatible (THIS) version (LE, SE-AE)

Pros: Adds stats through a system of enchanted upgradable rings, not through scripts, which makes it super-compatible with any other mod that changes stats.

Cons: Having extra items in your inventory. Has too many game records to be ESL-ified.

The Flexible version (LE, SE-AE)

Pros: Adds stats directly to the player through scripts (from the MCM-menu or even automatically). Minimalistic.

Cons: Less compatible, can't buy movement speed.

Buy Stats and Perks (Compatible) is a gameplay mod for Skyrim that lets you spend gold to increase Health, Magicka, Stamina, Carry Weight, and Movement Speed, plus gain perk points. It works by crafting upgradeable enchanted rings and a perk potion at any forge, with prices ranging from 200 to 100,000 gold. The mod is designed for maximum compatibility, even with other stat-changing mods, and offers extensive customization and scaling options.

✨ Key Features

Purchase stat increases and perk points using gold, with prices adjustable from 200 to 100,000.
Stats are added via enchanted rings that can be equipped or unequipped anytime, ensuring compatibility with other mods.
Craft and upgrade rings at any forge; each upgrade grants +1 to a stat or +10 carry weight, up to 10,000 upgrades per ring.
Perk points are obtained by crafting and drinking a perk point potion.
Recipes only appear in the crafting menu when you have enough gold, keeping the menu uncluttered.
Rings can be merged after reaching level 100 or 1000, allowing for massive stat stacking without extra gold cost.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-trusted with 343 endorsements and over 13k downloads.
  • Built for maximum compatibility—works even with mods that alter stats, thanks to the ring-based system.
  • Flexible pricing and toggle options let you tailor the experience mid-game.

⚠️ Cons

  • Requires manual ring equipping after each upgrade, which can be tedious during heavy use.
  • The ring merging system adds complexity that might feel overkill for casual players.
  • Crafting-based 'buying' might not suit purists who prefer traditional merchant transactions.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want a convenient gold sink to boost stats and perks without console commands, especially those running heavy mod lists where compatibility is key. It's also great for completionists who enjoy min-maxing with the ring merging system. Skip if you prefer lore-friendly or immersive ways to gain power, or if you dislike crafting mechanics.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • After crafting an upgraded ring, remember to equip it—the stat boost only applies when worn.
  • Use the ring merging system to consolidate multiple rings into one, freeing up inventory space.
  • If you're using a mod manager, install the version matching your Skyrim edition (LE or SE/AE) to avoid conflicts.
