📋 About This Mod

✅ Compatible with Skyrim SE, AE and VR.

✅ Compatible with existing save files. Safe to install, edit or uninstall mid-game.

✅ Compatible with NPC overhaul mods.

How it works

Distributes Colovian, Cyrodiilic and Nibenese armors and outfits from Beyond Skyrim: Bruma to Skyrim, Dawnguard and Dragonborn Imperials without editing the NPC records. Replaces the outfits of all unique (named) Imperials, except for guards, priests and soldiers.

1) Will it conflict with my NPC overhaul mods?

No. Spell Perk Item Distributor injects the outfits without editing facegen, headparts and everything else that defines their appearance.

2) Doesn't work for me!

Open console, click on the NPC, type disable and then enable. If this doesn't work, you probably didn't install Bruma or SPID properly.

3) Why is there no plugin?

It's not necessary. SPID loads DISTR.ini files even if there's no plugin.

4) I don't like a certain armor/outfit for an NPC. How can I change or disable it?

Open "ImperialOutfits_DISTR.ini" with a text editor (like Notepad or Word) and delete the NPC's name from the Outfit line. If you want to change the NPC's outfit to another, simply move the NPC's name to the outfit that you want. If you want to completely remove an outfit, comment or delete the line.

5) All common clothes look the same for females!

Well, yes. It's an oversight of Bruma's alternate textures. The colors change for males, but they're always blue for females. Look for Bruma's patches to fix it.

This mod distributes Colovian, Cyrodilic, and Nibanese armors and outfits from Beyond Skyrim: Bruma to Imperials in Skyrim, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn. It's a lightweight distribution mod with 759 endorsements and over 255k downloads, last updated in September 2022.

✨ Key Features

Adds Colovian, Cyrodilic, and Nibanese armors and outfits to Imperials.
Works with Skyrim, Dawnguard, and Dragonborn content.
Uses SPID (Spell Perk Item Distributor) for distribution.
Requires Beyond Skyrim: Bruma assets.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Huge download count (255k+) shows it's a popular choice for lore-friendly variety.
  • Simple distribution mod—no new meshes or textures, just makes existing Bruma gear appear in the base game.
  • Active author (last updated 2022) and solid endorsement ratio (759 endorsements).

⚠️ Cons

  • Requires Beyond Skyrim: Bruma as a master—if you don't have that mod, this won't work.
  • Only affects Imperials, so if you play other races, you won't see any changes.
  • Last updated in 2022—may have compatibility issues with newer versions of SPID or Skyrim updates.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who love Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and want its cultural armors to appear on Imperials in the base game. Great for immersion-focused playthroughs where Imperials should look like they're from Cyrodiil. Skip if you don't use Bruma or don't care about visual variety for NPCs.
📦 Install:Medium· 5-10 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure you have both Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and SPID installed before adding this mod, and load it after them.
  • Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to handle the file placement and load order automatically.
  • If you're not seeing the outfits, check that SPID is working by running the game once and then checking the SPID log for errors.
