Finding the Stones of Barenziah and restoring her Crown always felt like a fun idea, but very unrewarding in practice. The 24 gems you need to find are strewn across Skyrim, some in questline, player home, or faction-locked locations, and for the amount of time and effort finding them over the course of a playthrough takes, the tiny "you find a few more gems sometimes" effect the player receives only after finding all 24, completing the quest, & restoring the crown feels disappointing, lackluster, and a bit insulting to the player's time.

Boons of Barenziah aims to fix this imbalance by adding modular, balanced, and rewarding buffs that evolve and grow more powerful with each Stone you find, with a bigger increase in power when the Crown of Barenziah is fully restored. This makes finding each gemstone feel useful, meaningful, and rewarding, and restoring the Crown at the end actually worth doing.

There are 5 Reward Options available to choose from (details on all of them below), each are standalone, conflict-free, and modular which means you are free to choose one, mix-and-match multiple options, or use them all depending on your personal preference. They will only be visible in your active effects when you have found at least one Stone of Barenziah, and will update their descriptions over time to reflect how many stones you have found, & when the Crown is complete.

Each Option is .esl-flagged (won't take up a slot in your load order) has a single script that will only run once to add the perk to the player, and is compatible with everything out of the box as they touch zero records from the vanilla game.

They are also safe to install on an existing playthrough, & will accurately reflect the number of stones you have/if the Crown is complete even if you found them before installing the mod.

REWARD OPTIONS

(Choose one, mix-and-match several, or use all of them at once!)

Option 1 - The Queen's Diplomacy

Each Stone of Barenziah found will grant 1% better prices when buying or selling, up to 24%.

Restoring the Crown of Barenziah will raise this to 30%.

Option 2 - The Queen's Obligation

Each Stone of Barenziah found will grant 5 additional max carry weight, up to 120.

Restoring the Crown of Barenziah will raise this to 150.
