📋 About This Mod
My reworked version of the Black Rose set originally by n8k for Oldrim. Previous conversions to SSE have all just coped with the issues with the meshes, which I have tried to address here. Let's say this is Black Rose Refreshed? This is a direct conversion from the original UNPB mod page from n8k.
Pieces separated out for mix and match enthuiasts.
The original meshes were fried in terms of polygons and normals (the heels normals were inside out for some reason), so I did some blender work to fix it up and subdivide the pieces so they have more than 20 polygons each, and a lot of small manual mesh edits. They should be less blocky now and generally have less jarring angular shapes. This is not perfect, of course, but it should at least go from 2013 to maybe 2018.
SMP physics has been added to the dangly bits like the rings and the belt ends. On the textures side, the lace textures have been improved, and there are also two new recolors in the usual colors of roses - red and white.
There are hand painted weights for immersive physics, with special thanks to PsychoWedge for doing the BHUNP weight painting.
Also, some custom sliders that I will leave as an exercise for the reader to find out what they do.
These things all have SMP now, yay!
esl flagged esp. Use additemmenu, modex, or console; no crafting recipes. Build with bodyslide first.
Requirements:
CBBE 3BA or BHUNPv4
Optionally, if you have heels sounds and sound records distributor, the heels will have heel footstep sounds.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with nearly 1,000 endorsements and over 57k downloads
- Supports all major body mods (3BA, BHUNP, HIMBO) so it fits most setups
- Regularly updated (March 2025) so it's likely compatible with current game versions
⚠️ Cons
- Revealing style isn't for everyone—if you prefer lore-friendly or modest gear, this isn't it
- No screenshots or detailed description provided, so you're flying blind on the actual look
- Compatibility with other clothing mods that modify the same body slots could cause clipping
For Skyrim players who want a revealing clothing set that works with their body mod, especially if you're using 3BA or BHUNP. Skip if you're after lore-friendly or practical armor—this is purely for aesthetic flair.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the corresponding body mod (3BA, BHUNP, or HIMBO) installed first, or the clothing may not fit properly.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to install and easily uninstall if you don't like the look.
- Check your load order—place this mod after any body mods to ensure the meshes override correctly.
