📋 About This Mod

just to clarify in case its not obvious since I'm not sure, this is not a plug and play thing, it is specifically just folders where you can add attack animations from other mods and rename them so it works as a jump attack with bfco.

Genuinely please read the "README" file, it will help you figure out what to do, though If you prefer to read on the mod page, this is what I typed there.

replace name of hkx files you put in each weapon assigned folder with one of these two in file explorer.

BFCO_JumpAttack - light jump attack

BFCO_JumpAttackPower - power jump attack

I'm not too good with finding item id stuffs so even though i'd like to, I'm not sure I'll be able to add any animated armoury conditions for this atm.

unless you have an easy way to figure that out, then please inform me.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This is a folder template for BFCO jump attacks in Skyrim, requiring manual setup. It provides weapon-specific folders where you rename hkx animation files to BFCO_JumpAttack or BFCO_JumpAttackPower. Not plug-and-play; read the README. 70 endorsements, 8,919 downloads, updated September 2024.

✨ Key Features

Weapon-assigned folders for organizing animations
Includes a README file with instructions

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Decent community traction with 70 endorsements and nearly 9k downloads
  • Fills a niche for BFCO users wanting jump attacks
  • Simple concept—just rename files and drop them in

⚠️ Cons

  • Not plug-and-play; requires manual file renaming and folder placement
  • No animated armoury conditions included, limiting weapon-specific animations
  • Potential compatibility issues with other animation mods that modify BFCO files
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim modders using BFCO who want to add jump attacks and are comfortable with manual file organization. If you prefer plug-and-play mods or aren't familiar with hkx files, this might be frustrating. Skip if you want a complete animation pack—this is just a framework.
📦 Install:Medium· 10-15 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Read the README file before doing anything—it explains the renaming process clearly.
  • Use a mod manager to install the folders, then manually place your hkx files into the correct weapon folders.
  • Make sure your hkx files are compatible with BFCO's skeleton and animation format, or they won't work.
