Better Males Remesh for Skyrim SE

The user traa108 made new textures for the flaccid body model. He also re-skinned the vanilla body which looks just great! Took a glance at his mod page, and holy hell, he did an awesome job!

I dug out an old classic from Skyrim called "Better Males" which I used when there was no "Schlongs of Skyrim" around. Unfortunately the classic Better Males made Skyrim Special Edition crash immediately (at least on my rig here). I looked into the meshes and saw that they were oddly set up, f. ex. the calves were not a partition but a separate NiTrishape - perhaps that was the reason. Whatever. Bottom line is I took some time in Blender and reworked them to be Skyrim SE compatible.

These meshes until version 2. 2 are also compatible with classic Skyrim (aka "Oldrim"). From version 2. 2a they have been run through NIf Optimizer for Skyrim SE, which makes them incompatible with Oldrim.

The schlongs on this body replacer are rigid, no swingin', no hard-ons etc. They are just mesh models as Better Males always had it, but that's what we have to go for until the masters of schlong and SKSE for Skyrim SE are back with a vengeance, I'm afraid.

All options up to version 2. 3 come in a FOMOD installer, so you shouldn't have to worry about manually replacing files. Version 2. 4 unfortunately comes in loose optional files (addons that require the 2. 3 FOMOD), since Vulchor is probably busy atm and cannot take care of FOMODs.

Character overhauls such as "Total Character Makeover" should be compatible, just install  Better Males after them, overwriting the TCM files. Of course there can and will be texture seams on the body. That is a task for someone who is willing to make compatibility textures for overhauls like the one mentioned above.

The additonal textures and the default texture in the main file have been optimized with DDSOpt and come in two flavors: 2k constraint or 4k constraint. The latter is a harder hit on performance of course, at least for weaker systems.

But you can also use any face textures you want, as there are none included in this mod. You can also go to the original mod and download one of the face textures you can find there.

A note for Northborn Scars users: the optional optimized textures in this mod modify scars as well as face textures.  This mod is fully compatible with Northborn Scars, just make sure to choose to not install the optional face textures at that prompt in the the installer.
