📋 About This Mod

This mod provides functionality to precisely edit currently equipped armors on the follower. In general, the following is possible using the normal container menu (default Trade items menu from skyrim)

  • []Equip armor/weapon

    []Unequip armor/weapon

    []Move item (default skyrim option)

    • []Address Library

      []MCM Helper

This mod will work for all SE version as long as you have correct address library version for your skyrim version WITH EXCEPTION OF VR. VR support is not yet implemented.

    TLDR: Supports SE/AE

    How it works:

    • []Hooks function that is causing NPCs to equip the armors/weapons on their own. This use some algorithm so they always use armor/weapons they are best with. Issue is that because of this, player cant experiment with different armors, as game is the one who decide what will be equipped. BFEC disables this function for followers.

[]Most NPC followers dont have armor in inventory, but instead use Outfit. Because of that, it is impossible to remove the items in the outfit. BFEC will now instead equip the items from the outfit the first time the follower is initiated (after they become player follower). With that, player can unequip/move the followers armors/weapons

[]When in Container menu with Follower, clicking on equippable items will open new button menu where player can choose what to do (see screenshot for idea of what I mean)

      • []To allow users to better control what NPC should be supported and which should not, BFEC provides WhiteList/BlackList/RaceList support

[]All Lists need to be placed in SKSE\Plugins\BFEC\

[]Any number of lists can be used. This was, users can create simple compatibility patches with own lists and share them with other

        There are currently following lists

        • []Black lists: Filename have to end with keyword _blacklist (example: SomeName_blacklist.txt). All NPCs placed in BlackList will be ignored by BFEC. Even if they are followers or in WhiteList

[]White lists: Filename have to end with keyword _whitelist (example: SomeName_whitelist.txt). All NPCs placed in WhiteList will be processed by BFEC. Even if they are not followers or use non playable race

[]Race lists: Filename have to end with keyword _racelist (example: SomeName_racelist.txt). All races placed in RaceList will supported by BFEC, even if they are not playable. By default, BFEC only supports Playable races

          All lists use following format:

          []Every line is single form

[]Form have to be placed in brackets

[]Every form is made from source mod and FormID, seperated by |

          []Example: Form for Farkas
