Azurite Eyes

The textures for the eyes are from Cuyima's excellent Blue Vampire Eyes mod for LE - I have however built custom glowmaps for these, as the originals were very broken. The meshes for the eyes are carried over from HHAley's excellent Invisibility And Eyes Mesh Fix. Whether that makes them immune to the invisibility glitch, I have no idea.

I like using these eyes to signify the power growth of my characters, as the eyes very much look like they become more and more alien and powerful over time. Eyes are the windows to the soul, and all that.

INSTALLATION:

Please use a mod manager, such as Mod Organizer 2, to install this. It is possible to install the mod manually, but the folder structures are dark and labyrinthine, and you can easily become lost.

UNINSTALLATION:

Make sure that your character is not using one of these eyes, then uninstall the mod using your mod manager.

There are no running scripts or references that can become baked into your save game, so this mod is "safe" to uninstall mid-game. As safe as any mod, that is.

Details/Recommendations:

I recommend using the Eye Normalmap Fix for better light reflection off the iris. It makes both versions look much better.

If you use a mod like Improved Eye Reflections, keep in mind that for the glowmaps to work, the shader system on the glowing versions had to be switched - they will not reflect an environment.

Q: My eyes look weird/creepy!

A: Make sure you have the Eye Normalmap Fix installed in order for them to reflect light correctly. In case of other issues, please open a bug report with an image attached.
