ARTURIUS
Mine is a story of sadness and vengeance....
I was a child, 11 or 12 years old, asleep in a warm bed in a warm house my father, a disgruntled Imperial soldier and devote
Stendarr follower, had worked his hands to the bone to earn us, he had left the legion in disgust at what they had become.
My mother was once a talented Breton healer in the imperial legion; she followed his lead in leaving the now crooked
Suddenly there was a noise, and a scream. a voice yelled “Where.. is..the Scroll!, Where is Adalvald!?! He knows where
Serana lies!!!”
Leaping from my rest I grabbed the Iron Dagger my father left in the room eager to assist my father in defending our homestead.
Was the voice talking about Uncle Adalvald?
I entered the living area behind me to see a tall man, pale skinned with eager eyes, orange eyes, hungry eyes…
He stood tall in front of the fire, with an assistant in the corner, on their knees in front of him, my sister with his hand vice gripped on her head, my mother, in the other hand, held off the floor by her throat, my poor sister... he muttered something about
her being acceptable, before throwing her to his assistant.
He then drained my Breton mother of her blood through her neck, before tossing her into the fire.
My father entered, the family battle-axe above his head, a war-cry on his lips cut short, the vampire drained his life entirely with one blow to the chest. A seasoned soldier killed instantly…. what chance did I have.
His assistant then gripped me and held me still as his master attacked my sister, slashing at her, mutilating her before my
eyes. He then approached me, carving my face with his claws, three deep, scarring lines down my cheek.
The Vampire suddenly let out a bloodcurdling scream, his hand had started to fizz and blister, the smell was unbearable. My blood had caused some sortof reaction, The Vampire hissed at me clutching his hand. screaming the words “Dovahbloooood!!”.
