What does this do?
In the vanilla game, arrows and bolts always behave the same way.
The values of the vanilla arrows and bolts are always the same:
Speed: Arrow 3600 / Bolt 5400
Gravity: 0. 35
This mod changes that and adjusts the ballistics depending on material type. Depending on the material type, the velocity and trajectory of the arrow or bolt are adjusted to reflect the weight of the material. Below you can find the SkyPatcher Code with the new values.
The changes are subtle but noticeable and enabling you to adapt and determine, depending on the situation, which arrow is better suited for use.
This mod uses SkyPatcher and the changes will also apply to mod added arrows. No Plugin. No compatibility issues.
Why?
I'm an archer in real life, and I know how much the material of arrows can affect the experience. Whether it's the classic wooden and iron arrows or the modern ones made of carbon and aluminum, each type adds its own unique feel. I wanted to incorporate these differences into Skyrim to enhance the enjoyment of archery gameplay, even if they don't precisely reflect real-world physics due to the limitations of the Skyrim engine.
